INTERNET MARKETING

royalty free picture of Princess Diana's/Kate Middleton's engagement ring.

I Have tried Shutterstock, iStockphoto, Dreamstime and Morguefile, but no luck - yes, I have seen look-a-likes that are available for purchase, but not the real thing.

I have also seen several other pics on the net in general that would be ideal, but do not know where the photographs came from in the first place.

Does anybody have any advice for me? Is there anywhere I can go to purchase pics taken for magazine or newspaper publication?

Google 'Princess Diana's/Kate Middleton's engagement ring' and click 'images'. You can download pic and crop.

  No, you can't. That is copyright infringement unless you know for a fact that the image is public domain or otherwise freely licensed for commercial use.
  
  Not sure where people get this idea from but it is not okay to use just because Google found it.

  Getty Images is a new one to me. I do recognize that pic though. It has been cropped from one of the official pics, but I see there is a contact us link for licensing purposes.
