Trying to Reach This Warrior -- Please Help

For more than 2 weeks I've been trying to reach Melody...

She has emailed me and PM'ed me. She has emailed
my brother. She has PM'ed me through one of our
memberships. She can contact me, but I cannot seem
to contact her.

"Why haven't you responded?"

I'm trying like the devil!

I've now used 3 different email accounts and I've used
two of her email addresses. No luck.

My brother has emailed her 2 times. No luck.

I've tried PM'ing her using the WF PM tool. For her --
and ONLY her -- I get "Page Not Found" errors using
four different computers. No luck.

I've tried emailing her via the WF email capability.
No luck. "Page Not Found"

I've tried PM'ing her from our membership. No luck.

This is so bizarre and so ridiculous I just don't know
what to do. I've been trying for more than 2 weeks
to respond to her -- she thinks I am ignoring her.
It pains me...

So, I have a favor to ask. Can someone please let
her know that I'm trying to reach her?

I just DM'ed via Twitter her too.

I'm so frustrated that NONE of my emails
are getting through. My brother cannot
reach her either. It's Twilight Zone time.

John- I have had and responded to pms and emails from a number of Warriors -ask Dean Shainin for example! And you and I have communicated via pm here as well so I don't what the issue is! I also just received your Tweet a while ago as well.

I don't know what email addys you have used - all are working - but try cemelody AT fuse.net

Don't know what the problem is but I appreciate the effort!

BTW- I DO get your promo emails - so it must only be your response email address that is blocked? Although that seems odd too since I have bought from you before and had no problems getting emails from you?

Hi John and Melody,

I am struck by the efforts at communication, but it makes one wonder about how many emails never get through. Not just the normal bounces, but a certain customer who may be getting upset due to the lack of communication - even though you THINK you ARE communicating with them.

Being a forum owner myself, I would hope if someone needed to get a hold of me that they would log in and send me a PM or post a message, because how would I know otherwise?

What is the best way to avoid this, or the best workaround?

This is more than twilight zone - my twitter acct only shows John's first MSG 12 hrs ago, and I have no twitter notification of any later MSG, and no email either. And, John and I DID exchange PMs just before Thanksgiving so I don't know why there is a problem now.

Whatever the problem it seems to be isolated to just John as I have exchanged PMs, twits and emails with many other Warriors in recent
days, so not sure what the issue is.

Michael, my main business is a payment consulting firm - I have 300 clients around the world, and my clients always give me a bad time because I am so easy to reach- I rarely sleep more than 6 hrs so that's the longest they ever wait for a reply, so I am quite baffled by this - especially now that John's second Twitter msg seems to be AWOL as well!

...and the problem seems isolated to you on my end. Bizarre!

If you and your brother have your own domains and are using e-mail through them (ie admin@yourdomain.com) and are on the same server it's possible that your pop3 certification is out of date.

I've now used a total of 4 different email addresses from
3 different computers with 2 different browsers. These
email addresses include 2 of my own domain accounts
plus 2 "free" accounts (e.g., Gmail). Nevertheless, the
advice to see if the POP2 cert is out-of-date is wise.
I appreciate that advice.

It's also bizarre that I cannot PM Melody from my own
membership and I cannot PM her via the WF. And, it
is obvious that even Twitter is messing with me.

It does not appear that I am having issues with any
other people. Again, it's so Twilight Zone.

UPDATE! john's Twitter msg has finally shown up but oddly - never received any email notification, nor his email - but get more than a dozen new Twitter follower notifications and 3 dms so, again the problem seems isolated.

The odd part is that I receive newsletters & WSO updates from them so it would not seem that they are blocked by any of my hosts (I have emails at 3 different hosts, and 2 different ISPs) - this has been a truly bizarre situation!

But it certainly does make you wonder!

John,

If you and your brother have your own domains and are using e-mail through them (ie admin@yourdomain.com) and are on the same server it's possible that your pop3 certification is out of date.

It happened to me recently and no mail I sent for over a week went through to anything other than the e-mails on my server.

Just something to check - since it sounds odd.

John- I'm not having problems with anyone else either - and nothing wrong with my profile here as I have continued to receive and return PMs here today - and I am not even at home - I'm out of town and using my iphone!

Hope other members that don't belong to WF aren't having issues- they would really have a problem!
