How do I create a website that accepts paid memberships, assigns unique ids to new members and tracks all new members who sign up through their ids?

I see sites like this all over the internet so i know you guys know how to do this. please give me some advice. thanks.

    There are a variety of membership site plugins for Wordpress.

    Probably the most popular way to do this is Wishlist Member. It's more or less plug and play and tons of people use it. You can also just search Google for "wp|joomla membership plugin". Hope that helps!

    You're looking for membership site software. Some membership site software is stand alone, while others use Wordpress as the base.

    honestly, do you realise what you have just asked? no wonder the programmers won't touch you with a long stick. your request reeks of ambiguity.

    here's what you need to do...

    * put together a brief spec of what you need - not as brief as what you've already said!
    * assign a budget
    * post your project on freelance websites

    you will no doubt receive loads of applications. take time to vet each one and see if you can find somebody to work with.

    How do you answer a question? How do you EVEN lift up a writing implement, let alone USE it? Such questions are along the lines of what you have asked. And can I let you in on a little "secret"?

    Pssst!

    ******MOST****** people that have such code on their sites don't have the SLIGHTEST idea of how it is done! They're lucky if they know what a cookie is! They're lucky if they know how to code a form.

    Try taking a foreign language class, you may go a year studying simply how to answer questions. Use a writing implement? What kind? A quill, ball point, felt tip, fountain pen, a regular or mechanical pencil. ALL work differently. You could read several pages JUST to learn how to program forms, and that would do little for you but create a mockup. You could read several pages just to learn SQL, but that won't get you far. You could read a BOOK on how to select a language, another on how to program in one, another on webservers and terminology, etc.... So YEAH, no programmer worth his salt would tell you. It would be like teaching a 16th century woman how to drive a car in LA!

    As for membership programs, etc? nearly all are different and maybe NONE fit YOUR needs!
