Listbuilding...1 list per product?

by Landis 5 replies
Do you guys have one list per product? Or do you have 1 "masterlist" per niche? I have a few products in the pipeline so I'm wondering what the best approach is. Thanks.

I have one master list where I sale my best products and a few other lists where I sell all of my products but in different ways.

Yeah, definitely 1 list per niche rather than product. At least this way you could offer multiple products within each niche.

Yes but Internet Marketing is a diverse niche isnt it? Some people are interested in traffic, some in affiliate marketing or article marketing and others in adsense.

I think having one master list as well as some more small targeted lists could be a good idea.

Does anyone have any views on this?

1 list per niche....There is a difference between niche and market. IM is a market.....and FB marketing is a niche. You can be in a market with multiple list but each list is targeted to a specific niche.

So if you have multiple products in that same niche, then it is easier to market to them because they are extremely targeted.

That makes sense..but what about those folk that sell solo ads? I dont see anyone say "selling solo ads to a facebook list" its always selling solo ads for a "IM List". I guess some people have different ways to manage their lists. Thanks for the responses!
