I'm looking into affiliate programs with travel sites, hotel sites, etc...


Does anyone have experience with such and/or know decent programs?

    I did try some of those offers from CJ, it didn't convert well, might be my traffic was not targeted enough.

    Commission Junction have quite a few, I have started to do a bit with trip advisor through CJ but it is too early for results yet, when looking at them I was quite impressed with how long they leave the cookies in the surfers system some for a year.

    Just make sure you read the details on each program you join. The travel industry has some funky rules that change with each merchant.

    The big thing to look out for is when exactly do they give you credit for the sale? Only a few will give you credit immediately, most of them will wait until the customer actually uses their purchase (i.e. arrives at their hotel, gets on their plane, etc).
