Sell or Build on 2 Aged Properties

Greetings Warriors,

I currently own 2 domains, complete with high quality logos, but do not know if it would be better to sell them or to build them into complete Web sites.

The domains are both .net:

books-a-go-go

balconyboxbooks

I'm a Virtual Realty Consultant by trade but know very little about running a book store. If someone offers the right price then I would be willing to sell them. If they can suggest a good business system, then I'll hire them to develop it. All comments, concerns, and questions are appreciated.

Right now your domains are worth $10 each (not being insulting just honest)

Develop them and get some money coming in and they become worth much much more but if all they are are domains names only, then where do you see the value.

If it was Sex.com or books.com thats different

    regards

No offense taken Gaz, I completely agree. Originally, my client planned to turn them into osCommerce powered online storefronts for her brick & mortar book store but gave up when it didn't sell very well.

Since she outsourced the vector logos for $100ea, it would be a shame to let them go to waste. I know many sites are going for about 5x monthly revenue on Flippa.com but my river of creativity for salvaging either one has run dry. Any suggestions?

There are plenty of similarly named aged domains selling in the godaddy auction for $5 to $9, I particularly don't dig hyphen names unless they are search keywords.

Looks like you would have to develop the sites to make use of the logos, you will find more basic sites and turnkey clones being sold on eBay.
