What are the fastest ways to get FAST publicity for your blog?

I launched a NEW blog today. The link is at the bottom of the post.Can anyone help me out on how to get FAST publicity and traffic for my blog?Planning to add readership with feedburner so that my viewers can stay tuned for more updates.

try to use some marketing tools. you can get lots of traffic by tools. and it's much more cheaper then PPC.

Best way is to write a really good article about something no-one has written about before and then spread a few links to seed the traffic.

Your blog will get picked up pretty quickly

Socialmarker looks interesting, just how long do you think before this won't work anymore (just like mass submission to search engines doesn't work.) The best way to use this tool would be to randomly pick bookmark sites so you don't look like you are spamming.

Write a peice of link bait. Just write an article that people will talk about, link to and subscribe to your blog because of. Numbers usually work best in titles.

"The Top 10 Best Ways To Make Money By Tomorow"
"A step by step guide to making $100 from YouTube in One Day"

You get the jist, something like that.

OR....

Start an argument with a well known guru on a forum.
Publicly post on your blog your argument.

There you go.

I recently ran a test using youtube and have figured out the secret to traffic.(hey could be a book there)
200,000 visits in 3 weeks

An argument with a guru is not great advice.

In my humble and relatively inexperienced opinion you're not going to get very far in this business using negativity as a promotion tool. Your message is a positive one, making a good amount of cash in a short amount of time.

Now saying something controversial that some people might disagree with may stir up enough controversy and "chatter" to get you noticed, but don't go round spoiling for fights, if anything it will SERIOUSLY damage your credibility.

If you like, you can argue with me. But I'm nobody.
