Where To Advertise My Design Skills?

Hey guys, I have been professionally designing for clients/companies and a lot of my own projects [see my WSO threads] but I want to do more of that kind of work since I enjoy it so much. So where can I advertise my services? Anyone had success from the Warriors For Hire section?

I have purchased logo and landing page design's from the Warriors For Hire section. Met some great contacts that I'll even be using in the future. It's a great place for us looking to buy something in need so I would assume it equally beneficial to those who are looking to sell a service.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

    Hey Matt,

1st question...who is your ideal client?

2nd question...where do they hang out, what do they read...watch...etc...

Once you know that then you can figure out WHERE to reach them. If you like working with warriors and want to keep that going, you can inexpensively promote yourself here.

If you decide your ideal client is in a certain geographic or demographic niche, then you'll need to figure out which websites or newspapers they read, or consider some other way to reach them like direct mail or telemarketing etc...

    Cheers,

    Steve

I've had good luck with Craigslist, but I think it depends on your location.

If you want sale something go marketplace and if you want advertise something go where people click.
I suggest develop a website write about your skills, showcase your portfolio and contact details. Just start Pay per Click campaign and see the results!

freelancer.com and similar sites might be what your looking for although these work on a bidding basis. If your skills are market competitive you may find good work available there. But it can be a bit of a mixed back. Many forums offer services for hire including of course here. Everywhere would be good!

I've had a lot of success with craiglist as well thats a good one. Online Internet Marketing & Search Engine Optimization Forum is also reasonably good.
