Hi fellow warriors,

Can i ask is really buying domains and using wordpress then submitting articles with links and adsense really gonna pay off? I have my own site leegeorgesutherland.com and have been pulling in articles using PBCS software and using adsense, clickbank ads! but as of yet still no money made can someone tell me should i keep going or am i wasting my time! I have a young family should i just give up on it?

(Maybe could you have a look at my site and advise me?)

Thanks!

PS- Also can someone tell me how i check answers to my own threads rather than looking through all threads trying to find mine!
Please please

Lee

Not unless you have a good background in SEO so these sites continue to get traffic after you build them. You could build any number of sites you wish but if you cant get them indexed and ranked for the right keywords your going to spend a ton of time spinning your wheels trying to generate that flow of traffic each day. Id recommend learning SEO first before diving into it.

Its a large combo of everything..

Keyword in the title, keyword and LSI keywords in the article content and backlinks with the keyword you are shooting for. But you also need to do your research and find out what keywords you can even rank for. If you pick the wrong ones you leave yourself doing a ton more work then you need to and maybe never hitting the first page for it.

i have done some work on seo im using google keyword tool and using keywords that have been searched around 50,000 and under to try and get my article to the top as i know going for the 60,000-200,00 plus search per month i will have too many competing pages is this the correct way?

Lee, you have a very steep learning curve if you plan on starting off without using some of the fantastic resources and programs out in the marketplace. If you are going to try to make some money in the "make money online" niche, you are on a very long road to success. This niche is one of the most saturated niches out there.

It is probably best for you to start with a step-by-step program in setting up AdSense sites if AdSense appeals to you. Or perhaps in the Amazon affiliate market, if that appeals to you. Pick a program and follow it step by step. You will learn quickly in that area. Then, once you know that well, diversify in another area.

Also, there are no 'get rich quick' programs that really work!

To find answers to your posts\threads, go up to the "User CP" at the top of this page. Click on that and then on "Edit Options". Then go to "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and change it to receive notification of responses to your thread.

Alternatively, you can go to the top of this page and, under the search tab, enter your user name to find threads you wrote.

More then likely with that many searches your going to be outranked by authority sites such as wiki's,ehows and just sites dedicated to that topic. It will be next to impossible to rank high enough to benefit from it.

Id say since your starting out stick with 5,000 and be sure to uncheck mark broad and put in phrase on the left hand side of Google keyword tool. This will help give you a better idea of the real traffic you can expect from that keyword. 5,000 searches a month, if you can rank for it results in a ton of high quality targeted traffic for your site.

Along with saying that not only will you be ranking for the 5,000 searched keyword but you will be ranking for LSI keywords as well.

Id recommend installed Analytics on your site so you can track it as well when its more established for a month or two check your stats on semrush.com

    Hi lee,

    This might help you:

Poor Man's Guide to Niche Research

Begin with market research first. It's very important to determine the profitability of the niche you are getting into.

Depending on what niche you are getting into and the keywords you are going after, it may be profitable, it may be not. There are no guarantees but you can make a calculated risk.

  • Lee,

    1. Market research is crucial. Be resourceful. Collate the data and analytical commentaries provided by prominent global media sources...

Do your own analysis of the data you gathered. Keep these in mind:

What are the urgent problems and immediate needs of people in those profitable industries?

Which of those specific groups of people with a specific set of immediate needs and urgent problems prefer or are expected to look for solutions on
    the Internet?

Which of those specific sub groups of people prefer or are expected to purchase those solutions on the Internet?

Which of those specific sub groups of people prefer or are expected to act in ways most beneficial to you as an Internet marketer and your specific
monetization methods? i.e. Are they expected to click ads, fill out CPA offers, buy your own products/services, buy affiliate products/services,
sign up to your mailing list, download your trial software and so on?

What are the keywords expected to be used by those specific sub groups of people?

    2. Keyword research is important. Use your keyword ideas in the Google Keyword Tool and get exact match keywords.

    3. Pinpoint the best places to establish yourself as a friendly expert source of information, content, advice, products and services relevant and useful
for satisfying the needs and solving the problems of your target market.

You can do this by using each of your target keywords in Google and taking note of the top 10 or 20 pages which accept content contributions
from viewers or promote group discussions...

For websites and pages included in the top 10 or 20 results for each keyword but do not accept content contributions from viewers and do not
    promote group discussions:

Identify ones that get the most amount of traffic consisting of people included in your target audience, as well as ones with massive mailing lists
of subscribers most likely interested in your info, advice, content, products and services. Contact those webmasters for possible ad
placement arrangements, content exchanges for backlinks and mailing list
ad placement arrangements among other joint venture deals...

    4. Establish your reputation as a friendly expert source of info, advice, content, products and services in those websites mentioned in number 3
above, by contributing relevant info, advice and content offering benefits to your target audience yet to be provided by those pages and
    websites...

    5. Develop onsite and offsite softsell content marketing materials. These should provide your target audience with benefits seldom or not found on other pages and websites...

    6. Identify locations where your softsell content marketing materials would most likely be syndicated for you over and over again by webmasters of
sites catering to a target audience with needs and problems relevant to your info, advice, content, products and services...

These can be article directories, video directories, document-sharing sites, RSS directories, press release sites, Web 2.0 sites, online communities,
    image-sharing sites and so on...

Your main objective is sales. Targeted traffic is a prerequisite of getting the chance to establish a mutually beneficial relationship with your target
    audience...

High Google SE rankings would mean more traffic, yes: Though I'm not one to base the foundations of my livelihood around a secret algorithm closely
guarded, constantly changed and continuously improved by a billion dollar corporation...

What I'm suggesting is for you to generate traffic and possible sales while
simultaneously building content and backlinks in the process...

Instead of building backlinks for the sole purpose of gaining higher Google SE rankings for your target keywords, and most likely ending up without
added traffic and sales while your pages have yet to have high Google SE rankings for your target keywords...

Google PageRank and Google SE ranking dependence is paralyzing for most beginner, intermediate and even seasoned Internet marketers and online
    business owners...

I have seen many businesses of my clients fold because of their dependence to Google SE rankings and Google PageRank...
