Critique my site please

Hi guys, can I get some feedback on my travel site please.

PlanIt Backpacker | Advice and tales from the road

It's more like a hobby site, writing the articles is pretty easy, as it's my own experience. I'd like to monetize it, but can wait til I get it right.

I've a combination of travel tales, and travel advice... do you think it's best to just have advice? I'm an expert on this subject, having been traveling solo for over 3 years now.

I know I need to set up a list, I'm just wondering what I can offer to those signing up.... maybe a weekly travel quick tip?

How do you think I should monetize, amazon affiliate links? ClickBank products.

I can test both I guess, at the moment, I'm just looking for some useful feedback, so, don't hold back, let me have it

    Looks good. If I were you I would probably start a Facebook fan page and build a following that way. You can then post links to your new blog entries on your fanpage to get people over to your site.

        Give Surfbouncer a try. I use it on both Mac and Windows and it works great in China.

          Thanks for the link, I might go for the 6 month option a go. I hear the free tunneling software's not secure?

      put in some video. let your readers experience it visually.

      add the share it plugin for wordpress, that way it can be shared in social media sites like FB.

      love the sky diving part. it would have been better though with video. if your getting a video cam, go for gopro. then be an affiliate of gopro.
