Links to an Old Domain
Hi all,
I have heard numorous times in Internet marketing circles that if you are in a competive market, and you want to gain higher rankings in the SERPs, you need to obtain an old domain name that has some backlinks; however, I would like to know if the domain name is available for purchase and does have some Page Rank where would the Page Rank be coming from, since content longer exists on the web pages connected to the domain name, instead their's only a parked page/home page with Adsense ads.
I want to know since the old content has been removed from the page, and I will be putting up knew content wouldn't the old link juice be lost? Please explain...
