Is it just me or is any one else having this problem

For some reason today I have not been able to do much of anything that requires google searches. I can however get it to work temporiliy if I use google.co.uk however I know that those results are going to be far different then the usual .com results.

It seems to work fine when I first get to google and type in the keyword on their homepage however any additional searches google pretty much freezes up and does absolutely nothing at all.

Its actually rather weird and hard to explain really. After the initial search and hitting enter as usual it will show the loading information as it normally would. However if I do an additional search for a different keyword or even the same keyword but with a different search string like allintitle: When I hit the enter button or click the link it shows nothing. If it doesn't give me my information I requested after a min I have to make sure that the buttons where actually pushed. Which in turn brings me to a blank google screen with nothing on it.

So is anyone else having this problem or is it just me. Any ideas on how I can fix this I have deleted cookies and restarted everything. My google services seem to be working fine so it is not a real big deal.

However I was hoping to get some keyword research work done. Since all of my keyword tools use google none of them are actually working properly. I even just ran a test with ms which gave me a single keyword out of 700 related keywords after analyzing the keywords. So I know there is something really wrong here.

Not to mention I have been getting flustered with ms since they had to update to work with googles new keyword tool. For some reason every string it runs now just eats away at my memory and cpu usage. So I have been doing most of my keyword research the long hard boring way for some time now. Checking to ms every now and again just to see if by chance they fixed the bugs I have been experiencing since the google change to their keyword tool.

Pete, I have done several consecutive searches on Google today, and have not experienced anything resembling what you've just described. It sounds really strange - which browser are you using? Have you tried using different browsers to see if you can replicate this same issue in the others?

Sounds to me as if your computer might need a little housekeeping work.

This is what I would do:

      a) scan it with malwarebytes. (This usually detects most malware. However, just a few weeks ago my laptop was acting strangely. Malwarebytes found nothing, neither did superantispyware. In the end I installed Avast, which does a boot sector scan, before loading Windows, the first time it is run. This found malware and the laptop has been fine ever since.)
      b) run ccleaner
      c) defrag the hard drive, if you are using an older version of Windows
      d) check the amount of RAM you have.
      e) use a different browser. I have 5 on my computer.

Paul I am using firefox and r crome. I have not tried to see if the problem exists on crome yet so i will be heading over their now to check and see.

Thanks for your imput rose. However I run melwarebytes and comodo almost every single day at a scedualed time. I am actually thinking it may have something to do with the power surge we had here this morning that knocked out the power for a few seconds. This is pretty much when it all started so I will also try re booting everything which some times seems to help.

It may also just be my isp provider too though I have had more problems with hughes net then I know what to do with. However they are pretty much the only ones who offer any type of decent speed out here in the boonies. So I am pretty much stuck with them despite the fact they are just barely faster then dial up but it is still 10 times better then dial up.

When I was on dial up I was lucky to be able to get into analytics and or even my gmail account. Thanks for your input guys I will see if I can fix this so I can get back to work.
