INTERNET MARKETING

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to build a list and I've had some decent success. Basically I've gone about it the traditional way with decent websites with freebie offers and getting sign ups.

I've recently been turned on to AdSwaps. I've never done it before but have heard great things.

So recently I tried swapping and actually got a decent response! I was shocked and pretty darn happy about the whole situation.

I connected with two people here on the Warrior Forum. Which is great but I've only gotten in touch with two people, seems like AdSwapping is more of a numbers game, so I should be connecting with several people.

My main question is where can I go to find more people looking to do AdSwaps?

I've seen pretty decent results so far but it's quite obvious I need to be connecting with people in volume rather than one or two every now and then.

Any ideas?
Advice?

To the OP,

You have to apply some common sense in your approach to things. Most of the marketers have AWeber to store their email database. So the advance stuff is how they segment their list.

It would be hard for me to believe they would send your ad to their list of buyers. My guess is that they are sending you to a list of people on their list that they can't move to the buyers list etc.

In a nut shell, smart marketers keep two list. One for people who purchase from them and others who have not.

So what you're suggesting is that AdSwaps aren't worth it because you are going to get swapped with a list of unresponsive subscribers?

I understand why you would want two lists to keep things organized better, but that is VERY disrespectful and dishonest.

How many marketers ACTUALLY follow through with that?

I did not use those words in my post. Those are your words not mine. Why would someone send you to a list of their buyers? I have friends who do Ad Swaps all the time.

They could have a method of getting freebie seekers to buyers. Also, I have friends who sell stuff for a $1.00 and its works.

I use a different system in getting subscribers, that is, driving traffic to a high converting squeeze page. To me, working on freebie seekers is a long process. I gave you my opinion.

Can't believe nobody's mentioned the huge JV section on this very forum... a TON of ad swap requests there, and you can also start your own thread asking for swaps.

Safe-Swaps costs money to use and I'm not ready to pay for my list building efforts just yet. I'd like to have a much bigger list before I start paying for swaps
