Question about WarriorPlus's WSO Pro + Aweber Integration!

Hello Warriors,

I have a question about aweber and warriorplus's wso pro integration. If we integrate aweber with wso plus does the buyer receive a confirmation an email about the subscription? Or aweber will automatically create a single optin list?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have a good day!

I believe aweber sends a confirmation.

        I'm using it.

It basically posts to aweber and aweber sends whatever "please confirm your email address" message you have setup for the list - just like it would if the person filled out a form and clicked submit.

The potential subscriber still has to click the confirmation email link just like normal before they are active.

Seems to work like a champ for me!

        Have a great day.

Thank you Gary for putting light on this question. Does it mean that the buyer first get's a download link of a product and then receives a confirmation email?

The sales process will be exactly the same whether using the Aweber integration or not. If using the Aweber integration they are simply added to your Aweber list automatically during the payment process. Whether the customer needs to confirm to be added to your list or not is totally up to you. If you use a single option list with Aweber then your customer will be added without having to do anything at all. If your list is double option then they will need to confirm. They still land on the Warrior Plus thank you page where they can acccess their purchase regardless of whether you use Aweber or not.

Sorry, I know this is an old post but I had to 'resurrect' it to be sure I completely grasp this.

I have not used the single opt-in method before.

I was thinking that I would set my delivery URL to my first thank you page to have them enter their email to confirm their purchase at which point they would receive their confirmation email, etc. For this option it seems I would not have to bother to integrate Aweber with WSO Pro.

However, it appears, based on what you're saying Will, that if I integrate Aweber with single opt-in, I can set my delivery URL to the product itself and they will, for sure, be added to my list. But if I integrate Aweber with a double opt-in AND set the delivery URL to the product, they can still receive the product and choose NOT to confirm, at which point I get no list

Just want to make sure I fully understand. Is it riskier to have single opt-in, or are there typically more spam complaints?

OK, now my brain hurts, lol. I hope this isn't too confusing.

              Thanks,

              Liz Bradshaw

    this video may help

    Liz,

Single optin isn't very risky if used properly. These people are buying your product so it's not as though you are just adding random people who have only entered their details on a free optin form.

The best way to make sure all your buyers end up on your list is to use a single optin Aweber list and use the Warrior Plus / Aweber direct integration.

How successful your list is will only be governed by how you treat them after the sale. If you just start promoting a whole lot of products (like most people do) then yes, you will likely receive a lot of spam complaints and unsubscribes.

Treat others how you would like to be treated.

Great! Thanks for clearing that up for me.

There's another competing solution -- JVZoo has tight integration available with GetResponse so that your buyers can go directly on a list without any second confirmation email. It works VERY well.
