Best Ways To Build Big List Fast!

Hey guys,

been doing some list building tests lately. With some interesting and varied results.

Free WSOs work great.

Solo Ads you need to have the right combination of provider and subject line to get good results.

My question is, in your experience what have been the best ways to add a whole bunch of people to your list in a short amount of time? Free and paid methods.

Rob

Being a simple kind of guy, what has worked especially well for me especially in very competitive markets is just doing some solo ads and writing articles for ezines.

Why do you think, in a forum such as this, the topics of solo ads and writing articles for ezines get such comparatively little attention?

I saw yesterday that the admin of this site tried to start an "all-in-one ezine advertising" thread and it quickly faded off the front page.

        Hi Kim,
I noticed that too. It wasn't just the ezine thread, a bunch of them are gone. Could be they were moved somewhere.

Any particular solo ads providers you would recommend?

The JV forum has tons of 'em. Also the Directory of Ezines (directoryofezines.com) lists ezine publishers by market niche, number of subscribers, demographics, ad rates, etc.

Giving away a free report or a free video has always worked for me.

I added 500 subscribers in around 45 days by using solo ads here on the forum. I went to the JV section and simply bought solo ads from some people.

I only bought from 3 people so far, but it was money well spent. The thing is, before you even begin building your list, make sure your back end or follow up messages are good. Otherwise they will just leave you.

And don't be tempted to do adswaps just yet. (That is where you promote another person's site to your list and they promote yours). Just focus on BUILDING your list, not selling to them just yet.

I learned the hard way about that.

      Peace,

      Shane

Another great place to advertise your FREE giveaways is 2buckads. They are very affordable.

Just because you are giving something away does not mean you can not make money.

Even though the initial hook was a FREE item. If it is a quality product they will buy from you in the future.

Ezines are a great place to find affordable targeted leads.
