Desperate Niches More Profitable Than Non Desperate?

just wondering if other niches are as profitable. How to get your ex back and how to lose weight is so boring to write about. So im moving into a hobby niche because its more light hearted and fun.
But im wondering do crafty niches like "how to make candles" and "how to make necklaces" convert alright? I mean im targeting one craft niche where spyfu has the keyword click estimate at $1.23-$1.98. So that means advertisers are paying for this keyword right? Not only that but in Google search results there are listings on the right side panel from google advertisers.
I don't want to spend a ton of time in this niche and waste my time. But basically im just getting a PLR product and pricing it at 7 bucks. Wondering if this could work or not? I just registered the domain
