What do you do when you post on your blog?

Hi Warriors

I've done a good search, but cant find this exact question anywhere.

Once you post on your blog, i am interested in your process to get that post out there and popular.

I know all the basic SEO which can be done, pinging, rss etc, but I thought some enterprising warriors may have some great little tips/routine they have picked up over the years!

    I would:
    -RSS syndicate
    -Spin the post as an article and submit to article directories with backlink to your blog
    -Submit to Social Media Sources
    -Post on Twitter and Facebook

    There is more that you can do but this is basic

    Subscribe to your blogs RSS feed on Google Reader, and like your blog posts. Also it's possible to post a link to your blog to your Posterous network via Google Reader.
