I have a talk with my friend who is a animator, and he now want to find a chance to earn some cash, he can provide services:

1.cartoon you by following your photo, and it can be used as avatar
2.creat simple comic strip for you, and you just need submit photos and your script or story, such as "memory of Mr&Mrs Smith".

or even depends on your require.

but it is different from some traditional online service, so I don't have any experience so can't give her a advice, and I am also worried how many people will like manga(japanese type cartoon) in north american or europe.

    Hmm, sounds interesting. There are lots of sites to sell animation services. oDesk (dot) com, for example.

    Actually, I've heard Manga is quite "hot" in the States now, especially with young people. I live in NZ now, but I'm from America.

    A lot of younger people who like Manga hang out on YouTube. I'm sure they have some forums they hang out on as well. I wonder if they would be interested in having themselves drawn as a manga character?
