A Question for Domain Flippers

Are dot com domain names with guru (in them) worth anything? For example:

salesguru / appleguru / fitnessguru / hypnosisguru

By "worth anything", I mean more than the $10 dollar registration? I've checked a few sites like Flippa and I see some for sale with high price tags.

Just wondering if they actually sell?

An answer like that can't be specifically answered really. It all depends on the keyword.

A domain that has: "ilikecatsanddogsguru.com" surely wouldn't be worth anything at all.

But something like 'catguru.com' might be worth a little bit of money, although I still don't see it worth too much more than the $10 price :/.

The right keyword in front of "guru" could be a really good one for development. As far as just flipping the domain name though, it would have to be a strong keyword to capture good value I would think.

Actually, the keyword domain, if it's a good keyword is worth more without the word guru or any other extra word in it.

Keyword domains are very valuable if they have lots of searches and a high CPC. Remember a domain is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Someone who loves fitness and is a fitness authority would highly value owning FitnessGuru.com because they can use it for their own use. The point is to find an end-user because they will pay top dollar for it. The more potential prospects for a domain the higher chance of selling it but you want to think of a name that has commercial viability.
