How to Acquire Google Voice Numbers

does anyone know how to get multiple google voice numbers? i tried but after you forward more than one number to your original number it doesnt allow you to forward anymore.

and you cant use a GV number to forward another GV number.
ideall i would just like to recieve messages on these numbers and have them transcribed over to my inbox.

any suggestions?

      your thread title and your question are 2 very different things.

      in the beginning, you could "purchase" google voice invites on ebay. not sure if that's still the case or not.

      as for having multiple #'s, you'll have to get creative. go get a magicjack

          If I understand your question correctly, you can get multiple Google Voice numbers by having multiple Gmail accounts. Typically, only one Google Voice number can forward to a given phone. However, if you list the forwarded number as either a "Home" or "Work" number, you should be able to add the same number on more than one account.
