How to move prospects to buyers list in MailChimp?

I have just started using MailChimp and I can't figure out how to automatically move a subscriber from my prospect list to my buyers list, after they buy my product. I have searched their knowledge base, Google, you name it...

In Aweber it's easy, you set up automation rules and that's it. Any Warrior with experience in MailChimp can point me out in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

Did you ever figure this out? I'd love to know, as well. Short of programming something with the API, I don't see a solution for this.

I had a problem with this aswell...

For a start mailchimp hates internet marketers and try to make it as hard as possible.

i switched recently to the best autoresponder service that i have come across.

    Check out Imnica mail.

Cheapest and best in terms of deliverablity. There's also a WSO offer for it aswell...its dirt cheap and very user friendly.

Maybe not the answer you wanted...but the best decision i ever made as regards autoresponders!

    Thanks,
    Sam.

Not to derail the thread, but you may want to use them awhile and see what your opinion is then. I've been with them a year and there's much to be disappointed with. Getting an alternative now.

I just checked them out and the whole thing looked a little flaky. I'm going to stay with a proven company, Aweber, that many marketers are using.

    hat violate the CAN-SPAM Law
Also, there are some industries that send certain types of content that result in higher than normal bounce rates and abuse complaints, which in turn jeopardize the deliverability of our entire system. No offense intended, but because we must ensure the highest delivery rates possible for all our customers, we do not allow businesses that offer these types of services, products, or content:

    Illegal goods or services
    Escort and dating services
    Pharmaceutical products
Work from home, Internet Lead-gen, Make money on online opportunities, etc.
I hope your list is not related to this.

Switching providers isn't an option at this stage. I'm a PHP programmer by profession, so I'll just use their API to see if a subscriber has received all the emails in a particular autoresponder and, if so, move them to another list.

Would anyone be interested in this solution when I'm done? I'd be happy to provide it as a service for like $7/month.
