My 1st refund at Clickbank - Not sure what to do....

Hi,
I have my own product on Clickbank and a customer has just contacted me via my website to ask for a refund. What should I say to this...simply to contact Clickbank yourself or is there a certain procedure they need to follow with Clickbank? I can try to explain this in the email.

Any advise appreciated so I know how to respond.
Many thanks

Yes, I would clearly explain the steps to follow to get a refund. You can also show him this video as an example of how to get his refund. It would also help if you could ask him or her why they are seeking a refund so that you can further improve your product.

It's been a long time since I've dealt with CB, so I'm not sure if things have changed. However, here's how I used to handle it when someone asked for a refund...

I'd simply send a message to CB requesting the refund, and then copy the customer on the message so that they could see that I was taking care of it promptly. Then I'd follow up with a separate message to the customer, telling them the refund request has been submitted and that generally they can expect a reply from CB within a few business days.

Again, not sure if any new CB policies have changed things, but that's how I used to do it. I figure it's best to initiate the refund yourself rather than making the customer jump through an extra hoop.

    Cheers,
    Becky

Just tell them to contact Clickbank for a refund. Then, CB takes care of it. You don't really have to do much of anything since CB automatically grants refunds to customers for any reason.

Just log into your account, go to transactions, find their transaction and click the little icon under Actions that says "view/open ticket" or something like that. Then from the drop down choose "more options" and choose Refund Request. Easiest way to issue the refund real quick and be done with it.
