Internet Marketing - Hitting a Wall

3 replies
So for the last month I've been getting into internet marketing. Sense then I've hit a wall.

Heres what I've done so far:
  • I made 10 classified ads on ebay that got me $180 in Amazon sales, $29 in CJ sales and $180 in Clickbank sales(the classifieds were free as ebay removed them shortly after listing) The down side is every payment was made via paypal so I didn't meet the 5 credit card requirement for Clickbank and by the looks of it never will.
  • I set up a WP site, paid 30$ for a domain/hosting and bought a WSO plugin for $27 that didn't do ****.
  • Wrote two ezine articles that got indexed page 1 yesterday with affilliate links. Not sure of what kind of sales if any will be made.

I paid $100 for a decent drop-shipper but they don't accept order quotes via paypal so until I get a credit card I wont be getting into drop-shipping.

I make like $30-$50 a day botting world of warcraft so I can afford to fund a campaign. I don't do PPC however.

I'm 15 so I don't have much time.
I just need a new strategy to focus on before I get into drop shipping.
I'm open to all ideas and am willing to pay for tutoring.

Thanks for reading

    Dude, at 15 I was still running around bumping in to stuff...nevermind organising dropshipping and making $$$ online.

    You've already done more than a lot of IM'ers by making a start.

    My tip would be to:
    1. think what you want to achieve long term, dollar and success wise;
    2. break that goal down into bite size pieces (eat an elephant one bite at a time and all that). If that means getting a course, product or just using some of the great free info here so you know what the steps are, go for it;
    3. determine how much time you can commit each day towards achieving those steps and be realistic about what you can get completed - that way each day feels like a victory instead of not hitting your targets;
    4. get cracking, stick to it, and be prepared for when your income allows you to outsource enough tasks that the time you spend on your IM revolves around business planning rather than doing the hard yards at the coal face.

    Good luck mate, I reckon you're a bit of an inspiration.

    I have to agree with Ben here at 15 you have accomplished more than most.

    You are definitely an inspiration, there is a lot to the old phrase "Just Do It".

    Don't be discouraged on the amount you have made so far, since most don't make that in there first year online. Mostly due to following time wasting habits like watching tv and laziness.

    Definitely have a set goal in mind, some kind of end result. If you have never read "Think and Grow Rich" I highly recommend it. Really breaks things down to how to succeed.

    Other than that Ben covered a good plan, break things down into bite size accomplishments, and then scale it and never stop learning.

    I am not able to post a url here yet but you can type in the address below for a free copy of "Think and Grow Rich".

    Must say, good job and what a great start. Everyone is right about most marketers not making anything their first year. You are way ahead of them.
