Proxy / Youtube question

I have created an account on Youtube using a proxy because I have reached my limit from my own IP. Using the proxies is a pain because it's soo slow it's almost unusable. So once the account was created I turned of the proxy and worked on the account using my regular IP.

Does Youtube / Google take note of that? Will they kill the account?

I can't say for sure but I have did the same thing in the past and never had an issue.

In my opinion, a better solution to using proxies when login into web 2.0 sites, youtube, gmail, etc is to use a VPN account (like StrongVPN) for example. Use the proxies for repetitive tasks without any user input (scraping, harvesting, pinging, bookmarking, etc).
