Why can't I get any sales?!? :(

I'm having trouble getting sales on my website. I sell a hip-hop drum sample library for music producers at proaudiosounds.com. I've tried Google AdWords and Facebook Ads with no positive results.

Thanks for any helpful suggestions.

Is Pro Audio Sounds your website and that is your package right there?

I would take out the email newsletter part at the bottom. Focus on getting the sale. Use a little more copy. Explain right off the bat in big letters why your customer NEEDS those beats. I would also sample more of the sounds.

You should also compose your own beat using only the sounds in the kit to prove how legit they really are.

      Yes, ProAudioSounds is my website.

Yeah I was thinking the copy could be improved.

Good idea about making a beat using the sounds.

Want to help me out? lol I'll give you a % of each sale.

So your potential customers are music producers. Means you need to go where they lurk around. Have you registered with any music related forums? More people there might be interested in your kind of stuff.

Have you tried advertising directly on the music forums? Particularly those catering to producers?

I'm pretty sure that banner ad's on those forums would convert better...

Your site looks good. Maybe you could try making the example drums a little more "obvious". Newbie producers might not know what a drum pad is and therefore wouldn't even notice your examples. People want to know what they are buying.

The "Click the pads to sample the sounds!" doesn't exactly scream out at me either. Plus the pads don't actually respond for a while with the sounds...

I would consider putting up a complete beat using your drums and samples. That will entice more buyers.

For the record, you "live help" box popping up and talking to me also scared me off. Perhaps give visitors a choice about that.

I would make the what's in the kit section much more bold and the other details. They are kinda small and not very readable.

I would try joining some music forums, posting on some Dj forums etc with useful and informative posts, and comments then put the link in your signature.

Also I would create a facebook fan page around the product and promote it. There are several musicians on fiverr who you can pay to promote your fan page to their friends (Who will be musicians/artists)

    Hope this helps.

All in all, I'm still kind of amazed I haven't gotten 1 sale! By now, I've had at least 500-1000 people on my site - certainly statistically significant at this point.

There are issues with your Ad copy and I'll name a few...

Use white text all through your Title and text underneath for more visibility.

Make them feel the sounds through your words by using words like pleasure, enjoy, feel, moved, fun, deserve, and Love, the most powerful adrenaline releasing word of them all instead of that robotic text you put there.

Move that button down After you gave them the "whats in the kit" and the details.

Also, get that dreaded word "BUY" out of that button! That's a No No! Avoid these words below in Ad copy:

buy, failure, obligation, cost, try, pay, deal, contract, sign, worry, loss, lose
hurt, sold, death, bad, sell, price, decision, hard, liable, fail, liability, difficult.

after your text, give them a sample to hear.

Your action button, turn it Yellow instead of Blue to get a reaction. Did you know that when confronted with Yellow, people's blood pressure rise? However, in general, use Yellow sparingly... basically on small buttons and links to get a quick reaction from them.

I think I know what the problem is, there's not enough content, just one short paragraph and a buy link.

I'd get at least 10 testimonials preferably with pictures and add lots more content.
