I am going to sell this site

I am very happy because this site has 100 page views this month, but there is no income in affiliate sales. Do I have to sell it? Any suggestions? The site is Running Cars On Water. I think there is poor monetization or the niche is down.

    Damn those bots!

Seriously though 100 is nothing. you need at least 10.000 before coming to any stats, tracking, conversion conclusion.

Also, you're not selling anything there? I see a book picture somewhere there but I assure you it didn't make me want to check it out or anything.

If your titles are being searched daily then try Adsense.

The text is difficult yo read. What would normally be black text is a grey shade. The brown text on the white background is also difficult to read. That makes it difficult to read even with the best of monitors. You are selling a ebook/report. Your visitors may think that the text in the ebook is also difficult to read?

One of the first aspects of a site I examine before I promote as an affiliate is readability. My subscribers have been with me a long time and they appreciate (almost demand) that the sites I recommend are accessible and easy to read.

The header is way too large. It uses a substantial amount of real-estate. The brown text is also difficult to read.

At first glance I notice nothing about how I can save money. That is what a visitor wants to do and that is why they would visit your site. Articles that point to the ebook and even snippets from the ebook that explain how I can save money would go a long way towards sells.

In other words, why would I as an affiliate promote your site (spend my money to promote your site) when other marketer's sites do it so much better?

I have to agree with the guys I'm afraid Your stats are quite low as yet for selling this - unless of course you are just selling as a turnkey solution. Jeffery is right the header overtakes the page. I personally don't like too scroll that much through the content but that is my personal opinion. It is a nice site and I'm sure you'll get some more traffic to it soon.

All the best with your sale.

Best of luck to you... I would suggest building the traffic/revenue some before trying to sell...

The header takes up half the page - ditch it.
Also I read some time ago that Google does not look favourably upon this topic.

You will definitely need some income and traffic stats before selling.

Maybe you are targeting the wrong crowd. Maybe you should micro target the drivers of gas guzzling vehicles like pickup trucks, SUV's and Hummber owners. Also, gas prices have gone down so it probably isn't as popular as in the summer when gas was over $4/gallon

    A couple of things.
1)The color combo makes the subhead hard to read.
2)The writing leaves something to be desired basically the content doesn't read very well. There are also spelling, usage, and grammar errors strewn throughout.
3)I would choose a different vehicle than a brand new Honda Fit.
    A) The fit already gets great gas mileage
    B) Few people would void the warrantee of their new vehicle by adding an HHO kit to it.
    C) The type of person who buys a Fit is probably fairly sensible and not about to take a large amount of risk (such as installing a water for gas kit).

I have to echo what the others have indicated. You have had very little traffic. Not enough to base anything on.

Try to clean things up. Do some keyword research on your post titles and content before you post to help your organic traffic.

There's no really compelling hook to pull people in and keep them once they're there. With the price of fuel dropping, people will have even less incentive to add such gadgets to their vehicles. Probably not good timing. I'd try and task and remonetize this site to something else automotive related.
