Hi guys,

I'm brand new to this whole internet marketing thing. A friend of mine just suggested it to me and I'm really interested in getting into it.

The problem is, I've been going over the site and I feel like I'm drowning in info haha. It's information overload and I know absolutely NOTHING.

Could you give me some advice on how to get started with this? I'd really appreciate being pointed in the right direction to learn about this.

Thanks!!

    Hey, wellcome.

I know is all seems bit to much at the moment. We have all been there. Dont stress though.
You can check out a free blog (no details asked)
Click the link 'Free Tips And Tricks' on my signature below to take tou there.

Lots of free information and more than 30 free books to download.

peace of advice, dont get sucked into buying any expensive programs yet. most of them are great, but for now try to absorb as much free info as you can.

once you find your ground and know what interests you, then you can look to get a program to guide you trough the steps.

    Good luck

    Alem

    Hi,

Welcome. Just get a little soaking time in the Warrior Forum. Everything you need to get started is going to be talked about in the next week. If you want to spend some money to get a head start, join the War Room.

There is a thread that points to a lot of FAQ and other goodies. Maybe someone will point you to it. I just cant remember it right now.

    Enjoy the ride.

It was really odd reading that statement...as if you were predicting the future . But, you know what, you are so Wright!

Yeah, it sounds complicated. But remember you don't have to know internet marketing inside and out in order to be successful. Basically internet marketing is just:

    1. Having something to sell.

    2. Getting people to your website who'd likely be interested in what you're selling.

    3. Getting those people to buy what you're selling.

You should also add 4. Getting those people to opt-in to your list so that you can form a relationship with them and market to them in the future.

So you can just read through threads here on product creation or how to choose affiliate products for (1). Threads on how to generate traffic for (2). Conversion/copywriting for (3). and list building for (4).

Then you can post your questions as they come up. Hope that helps!

    Hi Kyle,

    Welcome to the WF!

My suggestion to your quesiton... figure what you are passionate about and go from there. What's your favorite hobby? Take that and create your first online effort that's about something you are into.

That's the best way to start in any venture... figure out what you love, and persue it.

Ditto to George's post, and as Jared says, start with what you know best, and leverage off of that.

    Kyle,

Welcome to the Warrior Forum. I was once like you. I was jacked up to get started in IM, then I didn't know where to start because there was so much information out there. I was getting on every marketers list and I couldn't decide what to try. You can browse the Internet Marketing Product Reviews to see if there is anything there that you are willing to try.

Just want to say that when you do choose one product to try. Go all out and focus.

    Jeff
