Hi Folks,
I was searching the Net for similar services Kunaki.com provides in the States, but couldn't find any. I mean - in the Europe, in the UK. Does anyone know by the chance? It seems to me that Kunaki.com is the only fully automated cheap DVD/CD publishing service online, but maybe I'm wrong. Please - if anyone knows - let me know. Thanks a lot in advance, Rgds, Robert |

Hi Robert,
Lol...been trying to find someone to do the same also. I've only found E-Commerce Fulfilment Services from Alpha Duplication Limited so far. I've not used them yet (just spoken to them)so no idea how efficent or not they are. Let me know if you find other 'all-in-one' solutions! Rich |

But it seems they don't offer the automation Kunaki do. Here you have to get the quote, etc... OK, thanks anyway! Rgds, Robert | |

If you do find one please update the thread, I have been looking at this too. I was hoping to sell digital products on eBay but was told by a few people eBay now only allow you to sell physical products? Which means printing ebooks and burning videos to disk

Kuniaki will deliver to the UK and the costs still work out. A DVD made and sent to the Uk for just under $10. The only problem is that it will be US formatted DVD and not work on standard UK DVD players but it will work on multi region players and on PCs.
You can still sell digitial products on ebay classifieds $9.95/ £5 for a month |

I think when you said automation, what you want is an on-demand fulfillment service. They only print and ship your DVD when there's an order. And you can pass that order direct to them.
Well, I am using something else, other than Kunaki. It's ... (I'll tell you below) And yes, it's automated. I created my own little script to make it work with Paypal IPN. Every time my IPN handler verifies an order, a DVD request is sent to the company. And I can login and check if that order has been fulfilled. And so far it's been great. But it's still in The States not UK though. But what I like about them, I don't have to use a special software to upload my content. I tried Kunaki and having to upload to Kunaki from Malaysia, it's quite unreliable. The progress goes up and down. 10% - 45% - 20% - 5% ... and it's been days and still not completed. With this alternative company, you can send a DVD over to them (they'll charge $50 or so to process it) or create your own ISO, zip it and upload it to any web location like your web hosting or your Amazon S3. You define where your content is inside your DVD project panel. And they'll download it from there. I also like that you can set your products in a few ways... You can set to send the DVD or CD in those sleeve envelop. You can choose the amaray case. You can create multiple disks in a product. There are a few options to choose from. As for now, I don't see them do a printed books though... I'll be great if they do because then I can send a complete home study course. But they can include 1 - 10 pages of document in there. Maybe your upsell sales letter... ![]() As for price, I think it's quite competitive. For CD with sleeve envelope including shipping, it's $4.20 within the States, $5.20 for Canada and about $6.00 for International (everywhere else, including Europe, Asia, etc...) Mine is a DVD product. I send mine in the amaray case with bubble envelop and artwork for the disk's face and the amaray insert. It's about $6.90 for USA, $7.30 for Canada and $9.10 for International. Well, you can always put those costs back into your shipping and handling (or postage and packaging). In case you are wondering about integration and automation, they can parse emails orders (documented that they parse email from 1ShoppingCart.com, Kagi, QuickCommerce, Modular Merchant ... or you'd have to write your own using their email format), Server URL (what I use in my IPN handler) or email them a CSV file (they'll charge extra for that). By the way, there is a $1.99 fee for every new product that you create. They don't expect you to pay for it unless you've made your first order. And they normally that first order is your, to make sure everything is in order. And as for billing, there's no need to deposit your money there, unless you are expecting a huge amount of orders. They bill you every month and you have a $75 credit limit. If you think you are going to exhaust the $75 very quickly, then you should deposit some money with them. They take credit card and Paypal. It's clearly stated that they prefer credit card because of the lower fee they have to pay. I guess you want to know what I use now, don't you? I use CD DVD Fulfillment - CD DVD on demand. Just in time fulfillment 2009. All the best... and if you guys have any experience with them, would love to hear. |
