I am confused about choosing the next niche for me.
I have a choice between, one does not have so much competition and I'm not so knowledgeable in it whereas the other is highly competitive and I'm good with it. The confusion is arising at the point for me where I can write an e-book on the latter niche whereas I've found some nice affiliate programs for the former one.

I don't want to start both at once. I'm still quite a newbie and can't manage two brand new sites at once.

I'm really not able to make a decision
What do you guys say?

Just my 2 cents Raindance but I would go for the one that has the nice affilate products to promote. Since you are new, it would be the easiest one to get up and started.

Creating your own product is great and is actually where the real money is at but it isnt easy. Not saying it cant be done but I know that I failed a couple of times with making my own product before I had some success.

    Good Luck,
    Rich

Personally, I would go with the niche you feel knowledgeable and passionate about. Plus the fact the niche is competitive is indicative that lots of other people are making money.

I know a lot of people do well in niches that they are not too crazy about, but when times get tough in your business (and they will) your passion for the subject will overcome any obstacle you encounter.

Whereas if you were "just in it for the money"...it would be tougher.

This is based on my experience. Good luck!

I agree with Kevin. Having passion can get you through the tough times. If it's "only" about money then any job can supply that.

Toss a coin, start one now and then when you are done with it start on the other.

No need to agonize over the decision to the point where you are doing nothing.

You probably have a long time to be doing IM work, so there's probably time to get to both.

Personally I would attack the second niche, for 2 reasons:

    1. You have indicated you are not that knowledgable about the first niche and therefore it will be far more difficult for you to create content and connect with viewers.

    2. You have stated there is very little competition in the first niche and plenty in the second. The fact that there is little competition rings alarm bells, uless you discovered a hidden gem of a niche (extremely unlikely) then there is a reason why there is little competition, probably because the viewers just don't spend money online with it, just guessing here but there will be a reson.

Also the second niche has competition, this means that there are customers actively purchasing and spending money online. I would rather a small piece of a big fat pie than a whole piece of nothing.
