Lots of people want to know the best free traffic strategies, but for once I would like to know what are your best paid ways to drive targeted traffic to your sites.


it would also be interesting to know who provides the best service.
For example, if you do solo ads, how do you do it? Use a specialized website or contact IMers?

    I don't use paid methods to drive traffic to my websites because I'm a writer and I write daily articles promoting my business. (I submit them to EzineArticles). I advise you to purchase excellent articles written by a ghostwriter instead of spending your money with ads. Nobody likes ads. However, all internet users care about free information online. They will gladly read an article that gives them the information they want. If they'll feel they have finally found the expert they were looking for, they will care about learning more about this matter at your website, by clicking on your resource box's links. Thus, you'll get organic (free) traffic.

    You have to keep paying if you want to have your ads up and running, while if you'll purchase quality articles, you'll pay their price only once, while they will keep sending daily traffic to your websites for years to come. The same articles! Well written articles have the right keywords, the right keyword combination, and the right keyword density. This is why they keep attracting search engine traffic. They are also very appealing to the public. This is the best investment for getting organic traffic for an unlimited period of time. You can find quality articles at Constant Content.

    Another very good alternative is given by Facebook ads, in combination with an excellent Facebook fan page. Here is a thread I kept because I liked the idea:

    Here are the very effective ways I used to generate targeted traffic:
    -Google Adwords
    -Facebook Ads
    -Solo Ads

    Yes, it cost you money but its worth the results!

      Rumour has it that many of the big dogs spend thousands per month on Adwords, that is the problem, it costs to get results so the risk is high when starting out. I am now looking into using Facebook ads. In both cases they have a potential reach of millions.

        Not true not true not true!

        Using adwords does not have to cost an arm and a leg and is not only for the big dogs.

    I do like FB ads too as you can target demographics and interest easily.

    Bruce, would you share what solo ads site(s) you use? Do you use soloads to send to a sales or a squeeze page?

    Jill, are you using adword in competitive niche like IM?
