Would an Anchor Text link work in a pre-loader

Hi,
One of the things my company does is create flipbooks for Auction houses etc in the UK. Most of these site have a pagerank of mostly above 4 so valuable links.

Clearly I can build a few text anchor's within the brochures but there is a pre-loader that I have which shows the book title and under we have a created by ......

Does anyone know if the search engines are likely to pickup these type of links - if in the pre-loader - it only shows for a few seconds so chances are they wouldn't be clicked, which isn't the intention. I am getting the software co to recode a image button within the menu system to hold a link back so that will solve that issue.

I can put a link to a book if that helps - just not sure if the forum would be happy about this - if some one could let me know.. its a little tricky to answer a question if you cannot see what is going on, but obviously I don't want to have the post canceled.

Regards
Andrew

I guess the answer depends on whether the pre-loader is a server side include, such as PHP, or client side like javascript.

You might be better trying in the programming section:

I think it is Java - its running under flash. I don't think its server side php. I can run the files locally through a browser.

Here is a one, this may help with comments - I am not able to post a link as my post count is to low !!!
