Never Miss a Fabulous Opportunity to Shut The Heck Up
I know it has been mentioned many many times before here (I know it MUST have)
But you can do all of the research and the backlinking and traffic and product creation. But that doesn't mean JACK if you are not absolutely sure what your audience wants.
So...... SHUT up and ask them. And don't just ask but tell them how that helps them. How it solves a problem for them. How the better you know their problems and the more on FIRE they must get rid of problem the better you can help them.
Don't talk TO them
Don't talk AT them.
Just talk WITH them ....and by that I mean mostly listen.
Ask yourselves this week. What is my audience telling me?
Go to twitter and any forums in your niches. heck sometimes you don't even need to ask them. Only watch.
