Making serious money using a list!! Money's in the list??

I was in the Internet Marketing Area for enough time to see that I've made a mistake not building a list.

I am making good money using a few methods, but I want to expand and add another stream of income building my list.

I see how important it's to have a list and I realized that I need to start building it.

And I want your opinion about my way of building it.

I will build it , using Solo Ads and Adswaps. I will test and trasnform my subscribers into buyers from the start using an OTO for the free offer. Then I will try building a relationship with them, letting them know that I am here for them.

So, it's a good choice to build the list using Solo ads and adswaps? When I get to 1000-1,500 subscribers , I can make money?

It's Imnica Mail a good autoresponder?

Thanks.

    Imnica Mail is very good.

There are many other ways of building the list. Best not to restrict yourself. Do what you mentioned but also find other methods too

Unless you're careful, a lot of solo ads and swaps will piss off your list. Remember that real people make up your list and a lot of them will understand what's going on.

Yes, money CAN buy happiness IF you know where to spend it.

Just treat your list like you would treat your Mom and you will be golden, unless of course you don't like your Mom...but I digress. Personally I stay awat from Ad Swaps and solos as I really value my list and want to treat them only to the best. Anything I send them as far as offers go have to be either used or read by me so I know they aren't getting junk.

When it comes to building your list, I wouldn't lock into just one method... search the forum, there are tons of different ways to do it and if you don't vary your approach you may not give that one potential buyer the chance to even sign up.

the most important thing is to get the right people on your list.

i have built many lists and have seen a huge quality difference in where my list has come from... personally i hate the idea of adswaps and stuff like that because the value goes way down...

ask yourself this question - who would most benefit from my offer... then go find them and build a list at that source.

my best lists have come from paid ads on specific terms.

You are seriously living in an era when email spamming has already become not only saturated but over-saturated to the point of regurgitating.

So, be very careful! Trends are changing...and you should change too!

I think you have a solid plan in place, but try to diversify your traffic and don't only rely on ad swaps and solo ads. It doesn't have to be paid traffic either - you could use article marketing, videos, social bookmarking, forum posting, blog commenting, JVs, etc.

Also, I wouldn't do ad swaps too often, as it tends to really annoy your list - I wouldn't do more than one per week at the very most. With solo ads, the key is to test on a small scale, and then ramp up once you find that traffic from your source is converting. Don't jump the gun and rush in too quickly with a large campaign, especially if your budget is tight.

Thanks for all who responded, and I think I have a better idea.I will try building a buyers list and a normal list using WF also.

Lots of great angles on the topic, my advice would be to emphasize Paulie888's point. Don't limit yourself to a few sources. 5 leads a day from 20 different sources = 100 leads a day.

Ever tried building a list by offering a WSO? Ad swaps and solo ads doesn't sound too good to me. It will still be advisable to build a list using the usual methods, article marketing, video marketing etc...
