Hi everyone!

Just wondering if a squeeze page is better than a blogger review page?? What is your favorite? I have the feeling that a squeeze page seems like an easier option to collect names? Any thoughts?

Regards,

Yoan

Are we talking about in terms of affiliate marketing? For pure list building, driving targeted traffic to a squeeze page has always worked as long as on the squeeze page you attempt to offer value to solve a problem.

My understanding of a blogger review page is one where you set up a blog to write a review of the latest product so when people google it they end up on your page. Doing this allows you to sell them your affiliated bonus package or at least funnel them to the original sales page. But you won't get list subscribers this way.

Yeah as Ryan says, test both options. This is where your copywriting strategy comes in - which one you use for a particular site, depends on how you're getting your traffic to the site.

Something like http://astoundingfreegift.com generally works better with PPC, emails to a list, etc, the page would never rank for decent keywords.

On the other hand, a site like http://homestagingreview.com is designed to draw people in, then send them away though affiliate links. The only thing to be added here is an opt in box.

There's no better than an old school squeeze bug
to build up your list like a crazy cookie monster on steroids

Review blog pages aren't cut out to compete against
the savvy direct response 'samurai path' to list building, man.

Definitely a sqeeze page. Offering a high quality freebie will greatly increase your conversions. Make sure it is actually high quality.
