Amazon review site trend

I've seen sites like this pop up everywhere:
razore125.net

They don't seem that attractive yet pretty much every amazon product search you do one will be listed. Any idea on if these convert and where they're all from?

That site looks pretty good compared to some I have done for promoting Ebooks.. and my sites have done well.

If I was researching that product in preparation for a purchase, this site would be perfect for me.

The basic setup of the site makes me pin Daniel Brock as the offending party for the layout. They look setup by the methods he talks about. I can't guarantee it, but it is very similar.

The thing is every one of these sites is lacking one major aspect; grammar.

e.g. "Don't Waste Your Time and Money On Another Electric Scooters. This One Is Top Of The Line. Get it Now With Best Price!"

If you manage to rake in a lot of traffic, say 1,000/day and have a conversion rate of 1.5% (:rolleyes, you would make $60 (for that particular site & product).
Its not my site but I do promote amazon, it starts off at 4% commission but eventually builds up to 8.5% I'm at 7% currently

I missed the grammar first pass, and to be honest I learned what I needed about the scooter without it being perfect.

Its a perfect example of how things don't need to be perfect to make money.

Most visitors will hit the page pretty much like I did and skim it for the important parts. I skimmed through the basic description and got led down to the bullet points which gave me what I needed to know.

Under close inspection, yeah it is bad. But let's be honest... how many visitors are going to obsess over it?

The site looks good because they target a specific product this is why it does well. Otherwise the layout would not work for a broader product selection.

I have a site like that one that I built following Dan's method. It ranked on page 1 of Google with no back linking what so ever and generates a few sales every month.
