Making text links clickable in pdf?

Hi

I've written a report in Microsoft Word, but when I convert it to pdf the links don't work. It's just the text links that don't work as those where the full url is in the text work fine.

Any ideas on how to fix this are appreciated.

Thanks

Use open office and save as pdf. Works perfect. MS Word sucks.

I found that when exporting to PDF in MS Word 2010 the links break if they span over more than one line. I just set the font smaller for long links and now it's fine.

It depends on what type of converter you are suing... Others does not activate hyperlinks....

If I'm in MSWord doc (my edition of word is quite old now!) I go to the PDF option that I have in my "print" dropdown menu, and the "save (print) as"

If I'm using openoffice.org, then from the "file" dropdown menu, I simply choose "Export as PDF" and save accordingly

All links work fine in the PDF

Thanks for all the tips, the article that Ryan found about the plug-in for word was just what I was looking for - problem solved in < 5 minutes.

Amazing how when I searched the microsoft help page they didn't show this, guess it's not in their interest for people to publish in pdf.
