has anyone read any good books on selling?

Just curious if any of you've read any great books on selling. I think people in advertising forget we're here to sell. Call it internet marketing... offline marketing.... What ever you wanna call it. But, all we really are doing is, selling to a lot of different people at the same time. Id love any of your suggestions.

Chiao,
Branden

I love the classics, which teach you how to sell without selling, like Dale Carnegie, Andrew Carnegie and other successful business men from the earlier half of the 1900's always seems to have great ideas. From current times, I read anything by Joe Schroeder and Dani Johnson. You can google both to get some of their content and see if either one "speaks" to you.

    • Hey, Thanks Mohammad... I actually have a few of those books on the link you posted but, ill definately check the other ones out.

Thanks Brian. I haven't heard of that book but, I'll look it up on Amazon.

And, last but not least, Joy... You're absolutely right about Carnegies books. They are wonderful. And, selling without selling is kinda a new term to me but, I like it. As for the other two authors you mentioned... I haven't heard of either one, but I am on my way to amazon to check 'em out.

      Thanks guys

"How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie is a classic I still go back to. Another great book that is newer and not so much about selling but branding yourself and in his words "crushing it!" Is called "Crush It" by Gary Vaynerchuck.

Right on Bryan... I haven't ever herd of "Spin Selling" but, I'll definitely look into it. So, what do you do? Internet marketing, freelancing or run your own business?
