So I just launched my first product...now what?

Hey friends...hope y'all are doing awesome.

This is my first post in what I hope to be a lot more posts in the future.

Just a disclaimer: I'm a complete newbie at this internet marketing thing.

I just launched my first info product to my list of 930 people and was able to make 37 sales and a total of $777.23

I wish it would have launched for more but I'll do better next time.

Now's here's where I'm a little confused. What the heck do I do now?

After those 37 sales I just got one more sale and that was after one week :$

While I may be confused...I do have a plan and a certain blueprint that I'm going to follow:

- Getting my SEO guy to test, track and tweak my sales site using FB ads and google adwords. This will give me good date to go on when approaching affiliates.

- Redoing my sales page to Video sales page format that should convert better.

- Reworking my whole sales process (more upsells, different price points etc..) and I'm modeling the top clickbank product in my fat loss niche.

- Going to do a little promo for an affiliate I'm trying to develop a relationship with.

- Hoping to do a launch with some big affiliates in the summertime.

- After I do that launch I'll launch my own continuity program and make it a goal to get 1000 people on board with my increased list.

Has anyone ever been in this position before? What did you do to make more sales and really push your online business forward to where you are making money every day?

Thanks for the help and I'm so glad I found this forum,

Ninjaman

Either sell more stuff to your current customers or go out and find more customers. I suggest both, that's the only way to make more money.

Do more marketing of your product to gain more sales and traffic to your site.

Now head over to the JV section of this board and get people to start promoting your product for you. Most of the people that visit that section are really good marketers. Give them a large cut of the sales and they will be lining up to promote your product.

Depending on the niche you are in and the quality of your product and sales page, you shouldnt have any problem bringing your sales to the next level by getting affiliates to promote the product.

It sounds like your sales page and autoresponder follow-up messages are doing the trick, as close to a 4% conversion rate is nothing to sneeze at. What I'd do now is focus on increasing the traffic to your sales page and tracking sales to see if the 4% conversion holds.

Get more people infront of your offer!

The people who have read, or will read this post in the future, will be come more aware of your offer. (Yes, I know I am stating the obvious). That's the issue though, simply getting your offer in front of more people. Make sure you do so using "white hat" marketing techniques.

    Hello,

Would the product be any good as a WSO? Is social bookmarking relevant? Have you tried a targeted FaceBook ad? What about a Facebook Fan Page?

    Hope this helps,

    Best regards, Gren.

Hi, and congrats on the sales!

I think you did pretty good there.

Over to your question...Have you tried to set up your product with a one time offer + an exit offer?

This may piss some people off, but my experience is that it will earn you a lot more money. It's easy to set up and if you're familiar with it, I highly recommend you'd do it

I'd invest some back into setting up some kind of affiliate program lickity split.

Why go do all that linking and selling when you have a product proven to convert and someone else can be driving that traffic in for you?

Always have a strong back-end process in place. Talk to your niche competitors and ask them what they are doing. Sales growth comes from repeat customers.

Like everyone has said just keep marketing your product, its obviously converting and selling, as long as the refunds dont flood in lol then just keep going.

    Good luck.
