Blog Sniping - Will this method work??

After analysing in Google keyword tool, I zeroed in keywords like "jessica simpson clothing" I think people searching for these keywords can be/are buyers.

I setup a blogger blog jessicasimpsonclothing.blogspot.com
Planning to SEO for keyword "jessica simpson clothing" and send the visitors to Amazon. I will create similar blogs around this keyword and send all that are interested in jessica simpson's clothing to the amazon's relevant product pages

I feel this method will be helpful for newbies and it definitely is worth a try.

Creating 5-10 such blogs and in the case even 2-3 of these ranks, it is worth the time, after all you spend nothing but setting up free blogger blogs.

Do you think this method will work and any suggestions?

Thank you.

If you using blogger platform, I think it's too slow to get your rank. I suggest WP platform like many other in this forum like it before.

Your only problem with this method is the risk of infringing on peoples trademarks. If you are trying to profit off the name of a well established person or product then you are infringing their trademark.

Thats why it is not being registered as a domain but as a subdomain in a blog. I think it is allowed to have copyright names in the subdomain or as a directory/folder/file except for the top level domain name.

      Someone please clarify this.

On the surface, it looks like a good plan.

The main issue is you are putting your business at risk of take-down on a third-party website.

If there are trademark issues, Blogspot will take down the sub-domain and your work will be lost.

I don't know about trademark issues in this regard. Look up some previous posts by Brian Kindsvater. He is the resident Internet Attorney, and I am sure he has talked about this kind of thing before.
