Email Marketing Zero To Hero

Hey guys, one of my websites earns between $20-$80 a day with around 100 visitors and has done so for over a year, however in this time I have never thought about capturing their emails. I've read so many posts saying the money is in the list so I think I should start one.


First of all do you think it's a good idea to replace the current landing page with a squeeze page to collect a name and email and my second question is how I learn about email marketing? This may seem like a broad question but I have no idea how to use aweber, set up follow up emails and how often to send emails to my list.


Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks

    Learning about email marketing - you may find some resources in the War Room on that - but Aweber does let you call them on the phone and does have videos to walk you through setting up your list.

    As for the squeeze page, hmm - well I don't know what your current landing page is.

    If it is a blog with a sidebar you can start by adding the autoresponder in the side bar with some kind of sign up bonus.

    You can create a seperate page on the site as just a squeeze page and drive some traffic specifically there and test, track, tweek.

    You are going to want to have a line up of what you are doing in the autoresponder.

    Such as, will your visitors learn more on what they are buying from you? Are there complimentary products down the road you can suggest to them?

    The money is not so much "in the list" but the money comes from what you are doing with the list.

    Also, how devoted are you to the niche? Are you wanting to be known as an authority figure on that one particular topic? Can you consider providing your own product to that list?

    As the old saying goes: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

    I don't think it's a good idea to change your landing page. Whatever content you have on there is working for you. Any drastic change could affect your earnings.

    Why don't you just add an email sign up box to your existing page - the upper right corner is best.

      Maybe it can work better . It needs to be tested to really know.

      Not knowing the niche makes it hard for us to determine much as well.

      Well if your landing page is a salespage, make a free email course or a free lesson of your existing product and give it away in exchange for the name and email.

      If your landing page is a review page, have them opt-in before sending them to the affiliate offer or create a small report related to the affiliate offer and give it away on that page.

      Don't make any drastic changes that can hurt your income.

    thanks guys, its in the gaming niche so im not really sure how i can set up an autoresponder series to sell the item.

    my landing page is a pre sell page. what do you guys think is the best way to move forward?
