yahooenforcement.com Is this phising or legit?

I own funnyyahooanswer.com registered last year and I got an email from yahooenforcement.com requesting me to transfer the domain to him.

I checked the domain and it just redirected to Yahoo.com main page.

There are many domain has yahoo answer in it like funnyyahooanswers.net, funnyyahooquestions.com, yahooanswersfunny.com etc and they seems to be fine.

I just want to know if yahooenforcement.com is phising sites or not. If it is legit the I got no problem handling the domain to Yahoo, but if it is fraudster, I ain't transfer it to them.

Suggestion please.

Thanks

Sugi

Forward the email to abuse@yahoo.com and see what they say.

If it's from Yahoo...they can tell you for sure.

I would ignore it until a lawyer contacts you. While it may be a legitmate request, they have to jump through a lot of legal hoops to force the domain from you, and if they start going through the process you'll know they're the real deal.

EDIT: It does appear to be a valid rep of Yahoo, but again, wait until they force the issue unless you don't care about the domain. Heck, you could even reply saying "Sure, you can have the domain if you pay me the registration fee I paid." If you want to be ballsy, charge an administrative fee on top of it. Chances are a lawyer that represents Yahoo won't give a crap if you ask for $50 instead of potentially racking up thousands of dollars in legal fees for the client who's best interests they are supposed to be protecting.
