Here is my plan..I need your suggestions

Hello Warriors,

I thought of sharing my plan with you and get some suggestions on missing pieces..

My plan is to build an email list by selling some low priced (but good quality) info products. This will allow me to promote other people's products as well as sell my higher priced products..

So here is my detailed plan -

1. Build 2-3 different low priced products ($17 or $27)
2. Prepare websites
3. Drive traffic & make sales.
4. Build list
5. Promote higher priced products (Of myself or others)

The issue I am finding in the plan is about the Traffic!! The way I can get traffic is through PPC, but I am finding the niche is heavily competitive. If I start driving traffic through PPC, I might have topay $2 to $3 per click.

So I am ruling PPC out.

Any suggestions how I can drive traffic? Article marketing can be one way, but I don't think it can generate substantial traffic. And for this plan to work, good amount of traffic is necessary!!

Your suggestions will be very helpful..

Also, please go ahead and tell me if you feel anything is missing in this plan.

    2) Run a WSO on your first few products

      Find a lower competition niche...

      You only have two options-

      Spend money, or spend time.

      If you have very little of one, you will have to spend more of the other.

      Since this is such a simple plan, Search the forum to learn a little about driving traffic, and marketing in general.

    Thanks Guys..I agree with Eric that I might have to spend more time.

    But, do you recommend any specific traffic strategies for my plan, strategies which are for free traffic or cheaper traffic options. I don't mind spending money to a certain extent.

    Some of the suggestions by napoleon and dale are about article marketing and Wso offers.

    Some other I can think of are -

    1. Banner advertising
    2. Ezine marketing
    3. Cheaper PPC alternatimes such as Miva, YSM etc.

    Any other you guys can suggest? Also, does the plan look right to you?
