How do you use misspelled keywords with hits?

Have you noticed that Google brings up the correct spelling results even if you input the misspelling?

My question is how can we use misspelled keywords to our advantage?

I am working on a project that uses a word most people misspell.

Thanks for your ideas!

It has to be so out there that Google has no spelling suggestions/corrections.

Otherwise your mis-spelled word will never come up. A friend just went through this and realized after spending $$ that the site was worthless in terms of not appearing anywhere (unless the reader insists on the mis-spelled results by clicking "Search for [mis-spelled] word instead"

Thanks very much for telling me that. It makes sense.

I was thinking that a domain name with the misspelling is probably the only way to get attention.

      Thanks again!

The thing is that they are just that, misspellings, no one is ACTUALLY searching for these words, they are just typos.

Now you COULD try and buy up misspelled domain names and have a ton of redirects but I just don't really see that being worth the effort.

All in all misspellings are mistakes, so don't make a mistake with a mistake. Two wrongs don't make a right if you get what I'm saying

Don't get a domain that is misspelled.
Even if they end up on your site from misspelling, they most likely won't stay too long. Unless your site is in the same niche. They will want to go to where they want.

Misspells don't go too often. Don't try it IMO

This is an outdated trick...too bad to. It worked well when getting misspellings to new products coming out...then just having it redirect with your affiliate link to the actual page.
