Did I just find a Golden Nugget?

I have been doing keyword research for a couple hours today just experimenting with whats over saturated and what I'll be able to enter into.

I came across a keyword term that has 6600 EXACT Keyword searches a month, and ZERO Competition. Thats right 0 COMPETITION.

Without "'s on google search it has about 1500 Results, so I'm baffled.

Is this a screw up with google or Did I actually hit a winner??

Thanks,

Jeremy

It depends on what the phrase is.

If it's something that is a "buying" phrase, you may have hit a winner.

If it's not something that can be monetized or doesn't have a hungry crowd of buyers, maybe not.

It's definately a buying phrase, I have to do more research on it but if i've ever seen a buying phrase this is it.

I'm just wondering If google sometimes screws up with terms and if I were to register the domain and set up a mini site and all of a sudden it doesnt receive traffic I'll be wasting my time...

Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

The keyword is a 3 word term with the word "online" in it.. and without the "online" in the term it has no searches per month..

      Any help is appreciated,

      Thanks

Then I hope you don't monetize with Adsense with that low of a CPC! Are there any affiliate programs that you can promote with in the niche? Better yet can you sell your own product to the niche and build a list?

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Definately couldn't build my own product, but It relates to some clickbank products so i'll try and promote them.

Does anyone know How I check the PBR of the keyword?

Realistically you will never hit that gold vein if you don't ever decide to take action. It sounds promising and if you never try, then you will never find out!

Besides, if you do the work and set it up, the risk is relatively small in comparison to most business endeavors. I think you should stop second guessing and just go for it.

Worse case scenario, you live and learn. It's always better to be able to say "At least I tried," rather than "I wonder, if that would have worked..."

I know this is a silly comparison, but Forest Gump has always been a good reminder to me of this truth: A fool who can take action is worth more than a genius who will only sit and speculate.

    Goodluck!

Yes it's great and you should run with it, but if I were you, before I do anything I would do additional research -- depending on the keyword tool you used.

Check this post on Keith Baxter's blog about issues with Google keyword tool.

There was another thread about this.
Saying that the keyword might be trademark infringement if you take it. If not, go for it then.

If other people are advertising using this search term than you know you've hit gold. Competition is good because it means there's money to be made.
