Thinking ON Your Feet Can Do Wonders For Your Business...

It has been something that has helped me many times in my business career and I always try to stay in a state of quick thinking when making a plan of action or drawing up my next business plan.

Thinking on your feet has to be on of the most useful ways to think in business..for anyone that doesn't understand the term. it means thinking fast and taking preventative action to mistakes or things that go wrong..

Let me give you a few examples why thinking on your feet can help you in your business..

I used to have a metric TONNE of BANS stores out there on the Net, pulling in a very high percentage of income for me and my business partner, they required very little maintenance and we could focus on other things whilst they floated in vacation money for us.. it was killer really..

Then this one day we were Skyping with some friends in the states who happened to mention that eBay had different plans than those that were being touted in the field, how things were gonna change. So we asked around and not one person was worried about their BANS stores or eBay setup..

We weren't happy with this, we just knew that it wasn't lookin' good, so as we were thinking on our feet.. we customised some of the sites, pulled others off the web.. and inserted many amazon products and blogs into the place of those BANS stores, and within less than 2 months we had re-structured and replaced that income..give or take a few hundred $$$.. and not long after, webmaster forums across the net went crazy about eBay changes and the now problematic relationships from the staff there..

WE were thinking on our feet early and took action..

RESULT!!

Just recently I started noticing some real strange stats with regards to Clickbank products... I mean really low conversions and more.. you know the ones that have been discussed at length so I don't need to get more into them..

Sooooo..

Thinking on our feet here in JayXtreme head office (lol).. we threw up 30 pages on 1 of our test domains.. and ran a shedload of blind traffic, cookie free traffic, we stuffed cookies on our own machines here for testing to see if we could get them to stick etc... NOTHING..

Now considering the size of our operation and sites.. removing ALL Clickbank products was going to be a hassle..

But was it worth it in the long run?.. we had to be sure, so a 48 hours later with no sleep and over 10,000 affiliate link clicks on our own sites with cookies cleared, stuffed and raw etc.. we decided that there WAS an issue and we had to think on our feet again...

So.. we set about finding replacements for some, and alternatives for others..

Some of them appeared to have no issues so we were able to keep some in place, and others we just didn't have time to test or check so they just didn't get touched...

But long story short.. we again steadied that income from CB products to more or less the same with alternatives...and in some places we were actually able to INCREASE our income because of the power we found in the Rapid Action Profits Script(mostly IM niche). Many of the rest outside the IM niche came from independent affiliate programs and other networks..

Then Lo and behold... people started popping out of the woodwork that we hadn't seen or heard from in months telling us that CB had problems.. and we said:

"We know.. we've taken action against it!"

Then the forums started filling up with CB problem threads..

The Warrior had tons of threads about it, Digital Point had a ton of them.. Wealthy Affiliate had them, Twitter was loaded with talk of CB issues.. every webmaster forum I read had at least one in that time and the black hat forums too...

BUT..

We were thinking on our feet, so the effect on our business here was miniscule in relation to the thousands of pounds we COULD have lost if we had "waited" or "let's see what happens!"

Don't wait... don't let things fizzle or ride out..
