I recently challenged myself in an experiment to find out how many backlinks blog commenting can give me in a 5-day one-hour a day work. I was quite pleased with the result. Thought I share it with whoever wants to learn it. Many people have learned it and have used this simple technique too. how much traffic did you get in those 5 days? How much traffic are you getting now from that every month?

Did you use software to do the commenting or did you do it manually?

I think the U comment icon is a superb idea and I hadn't seen that suggested before. Thanks, will try it.

Hi bladerunner/Masked Marketer,

1. I do blog commenting manually using the dofollow list I mentioned in my post which lists dofollow blogs with top commentators plugin.

2. My primary objective at this moment is actually link building and as you know if you have lots of inbound links to your blog or site, it is going to help you rank better in SERP. I'm also building up my blogging community of bloggers and friends as I get lots of comments from this experiment and I continue visiting their blogs even after my experiment. I'm sure the traffic will be more significant over time.

Hi Ben,
Yes I believe so too. It's a psychological thing. People need to see it and be reminded to do the reciprocal commenting.
