Why People THINK There's an Easy Way to Make Money Online

I agree 1000%. I was mostly an offline consultant. I started testing things for clients and found myself liking it and I started building my own income streams. the whole process made IM new to me again.

I also believe there's no way to make money online without some amount of work, but I know from my own experience that sometimes the internet has the potential to make you an amazing amount of money for much less work than you would have done offline.

And, it has the potential to build you a passive income, and that's what I'm striving for. I mean, I work now to build sites, and then the sites work for themselves and bring me money, either in affiliate commissions, ad revenue, or other methods, you see?

So that's what I *could* consider easy money, but you have to actually work hard to get to that point. (Or have a lot of money to invest)

Internet Marketing has been (still is) like the Wild West: anything goes in order to make a quick cash, even though most people fail miserably because they never knew what they were doing to begin with.

Despite all that, IM can truly allow you to earn tons of money with a fraction of the work you'd have to put in if you were to open a brick and mortar business. It's not about easy money, but rather smart money.

Welcome to the instant society we live in. We want everything now. We don't want to wait or work for it. We want some rich person to just hand it all over to us. This is one of the biggest downfalls to our new generations and there is a reason why one of the newest generations is being named the "ME" generations. It has become a society of getting everything now and a very selfish society at that.

You can make money online over night with very little work... you just cant do it for free

With a massive media buy of advertising, banner campaigns and CPA campaigns you could make money very quickly.

You could also go buy an existing site with a decent size list and start making money over night.

If you gonna start from scratch with nothing and no investment, then no it wont be easy. infact it probably wont be possible for most people.

But if you hire the right people and throw enough money at it then its real easy

The people those headlines attract want easy and free and no risk. you can have easy if your willing to forego free and risk free

I came across a site yesterday while I was doing some keyword research. "PUSH BUTTON INCOME NOW" was what I believe it was titled. What's sad is people buy up all this magic bullet crap thinking they are going to get rich overnight. Only to find out that they are making the people who make this crap rich.

A lot of people think that it's easy to make money online since almost everything is now on the net. However, you will only earn money from it if you really work hard for it such as you do a lot of search engine optimization on your product or services being offered. Earning money is not easy as a-b-c. You really have to invest something in order to achieve what you wanted.

There is some easy way to make money online with little investment, it will not make you rich though, but it will bring some money in your pocket and let you believe that is possible to make more...

But dont get me wrong, I totally agree that if you dont work hard and smartly, if you dont have plan then it will be hard to make money...even with a plan you have to implement it and stick to it, the problem is that we want instant results, but it not our fault, it's due to the exact same products you mention earlier, it makes us think that there is an easy way somewhere to make money that we have not found yet....

That said, work now and you'll see results tomorrow...

Actually, you can make money really easily and fast online(within 24 hours) with only minimal amount of work, if, you know what you are doing(most don't) However, the strategies I am alluding to are not necessarily the best for creating a stable, long term income, although if you do need cash fast, they are perfect(I am not referring to writing articles or offering a service of any kind etc)

I have to agree that making money online is not as easy as it sounds. There's a lot of scam these days till you can't differ the truth from the rest. Honestly I've just launched my first website about a month ago. It only has 20 posts of content and i've had 2 clicks so far that brought me to $1.20. It may be a small amount but a great achievement it made me think that earning money online is do-able. But it's not as easy as it seems. I spend 2 months building it and spend around $500 on tools, WSOs, ebooks and so forth. It may not be easy but it takes a lot of effort.

Patience is the key.

Simply because there are people who are tricked easily. If these people will not be fooled then there would be no scammers

it's simple. People are frustuated with their real live. The imagination about just sit down in front of computer and making money while you sleep is much better than sweating and tired, only to receive couple of bucks a day.

well, getting emails about how they can make 1000 in 3 days with ZERO investment is kinda enticing for a normal person LOL!

i think it easy but once they dont get the results they wanted and fast they just leaving it...

I shiver every time I see an Internet Marketer selling to an Internet Marketer.

Luckily I'm clued up and spot the "words and headlines that sell". The beginners get suckered in and wonder why they can't make money. When you speak to the seller, they will say you are doing it wrong and to not blame them, when infact it was never possible in the first place. It's scamming on a legitimate level I'd say.

I've even seen people create totally fake ClickBank stats where the site appears to work, and log in etc, but it's all fake.

The best way to make money as a beginner, and something I still do now, is build small sites under a niche targeting long tail keywords. Write articles, gain backlinks and in the following weeks if you stick to it, you will see organic traffic rise slowly. That is honestly the best way to make money online if you don't want to invest.

It is an endless cycle, "gurus" scamming newbies then those newbies become "gurus" and scam the next generation of newbies.

btw IMO is more potential than offline if you can detect the way or discover a new method.

Lets add to the fact that a lot of people seem to think that those hyped headlines are for real. It applies to all people who are not used to seeing sales letters by the so-called "gurus". After buying the shiny thing they will then realize that the money is not obtained just by touching the buy now button. Andrea

There are people out there that work very hard yet don't get anywhere because they have chosen the wrong methodology or made a mistake somewhere along the lines.

If only there were some "real" informative sites about IM ranking high for keywords like "make money online" etc. instead of sites full of advertising and affiliate links...

Most of all what these people say is bulls... but I thing some of those sistems if you have a background, like have a list of 50000, know some design, etc...
But the big problem is the people that just buy those courses or really belibe in them.

It's never going to end however... that kind of copy is obviously what sells the highest percentage of visitors. Apparently it's what most people want to hear.

A really good, honest post and I totally agree with you.

In everything in life, you'll find people with no work-ethic what so ever...And we got them in the Internet Marketing world as well. The funny thing though, is that some of them actually makes money, and still sleeps well at night. I don't get how they can, because I've been fooled by some Internet Marketers in my early days, and I can't say I enjoyed the feeling I got when I understood that what they told me in their sales letter, and all their marketing for the product I finally ended up buying, were just a bunch of bull****.

I think it's much more easy to sit behind a computer and serve lies to the public than it is to do it offline.

That said, I can't really understand how the same people get screwed over and over again. It wasn't that hard to pick out a few (4-5) good Internet Marketers that provided real value and did what they taught you when I first started out in this business. It took me about 3 months to pick them out and I've never looked back after, because what they teach you is simply how you get some good results online.

So, you got to do some work yourself when starting out in a new business and figure out who is legit and who is not, and then start to implement what you're learning.

It's about time to really understand how hard people in reality make money online and how that all work requires commitment and perseverance.

Another interesting thing would expose all those who say they earn so much and that really is not true. These people contribute only to feed the false illusion.

Posting a giant banner ad on the warrior forum promising easy money or results is the quick and easy way to make money. Depending on the quality of your product and effectiveness of your ad you can almost guarantee at a minimum you'll triple your investment. Get a couple of products, run a couple of ads and do the math.

It's a sad commentary on people and buying habits. People are willing to buy up quick and easy even if it appears to be and probably is too good to be true.

Hype sells and people are gullible. Smart marketers know this. Smarter marketers exploit it. Rich marketers know it, exploit it and turn their guitar amps up to 11.

So really, the quick and easy way to make money is to promote quick and easy products. It's what the people want. Discipline? Hard Work? You speak of things from the age of antiquity.

You are selling the dream and that is what makes most people warm and fuzzy inside.

We all know most newbies never follow through with any of the crap they buy anyway. You don't even need to release a quality product because there is always a newer, shinier, quicker and easier product to buy. Newbies are busy maxing out their credit cards on the next big thing before they have even finished reading the last big thing.

Hard drives have become graveyards for gigabytes of untapped potential and stale dreams.

Who do you blame? The buyer for not using his brain or the marketer for using hers?

People looking for easy money have been around a lot longer that the Internet has. Back before the Internet days it was drop shipping and money making programs by phone. The programs have not change much except for the way there advertised. Over the Internet and not through classified ads in magizines. And there are more than ever people looking for the easy buck looking for money while they sleep.

I have never seen a easy way to make a fortune or anyone that could really prove they had done it. Hard work is the secret to most successfull businesses.
