It's not so much that you should take their press release grade literally, so don't despair if they give your press release a low grade - but if you submit a press release for grading, their tips on what to improve and what to change will give you really good advice on how to write press releases for maximum SEO and effectiveness.

Brilliant resource. Kudos to you for creating it.

I haven't tried that Press Release grader yet though, I'll give that a go.

Those are all of the free press release sites that I have successfully been able to submit to, without major glitches, so far. What I was saying is that I had discovered four new ones since I last posted that list, and taken one off my list, so I now have the updated list on my site.

As ever, if anyone has any other good free sites that are not on there, please let me know!

That covers the basics of what needs to be included in a press release. If you go to a site like PRWeb::The Online Visibility Company or any of the free press release sites that I list, and read through a few press releases, you will start to get a feel for what needs to go in a press release.
