I dont know where I signed up for this thing, but today I opened my gmail account and It was filled by something called "safelist extreme" (over 500 Emails TOTAL!) I vaguely remember signing up for something and safelist extreme was one of three or four emails I got that were supposed to have a bunch of great tools in them. But this is ridiculous.
Has anyone else encountered this?

Whenever you sign up for a safelist of any type. You will be expected to receive A LOT of emails. 500 is way to many compared to most of them. Normally the max is anywhere between 10-20 per day.

At any point. When signing up for a safelist, essentially you sign up for all of the members of that safelist to email you.

Like I said though 500 is retarded.

    Matt

Just set your gmail acount to make a new label/folder for them. If you want continue the safelist just open the email & collect credits or points, if not just send to thrash.

That many messages from a safelist suggests that the owner is using an old script that allows aut-submitting. At the bottom of the emails if should have a link back to the original site where you can log-in and cancel the account stopping the mail.

If it doesn't and you want to keep this email account then set up a filter to automatically delete emails from this sender.

Finally if you do want to try safelist marketing seriously then start with the sites listed in the traffic hoopla top 10, and set up a gmail specifically for your safelist mail.
