How to build a list of web design prospects?
Specialising in building "business card" type websites for local businesses, he walked into his local Chinese take-away to order some food.
While waiting for his order, he spotted that there were business cards lying on a table from local businesses. A quick sort through these revealed that some businesses had websites and some didn't.
So, cherry-picking the cards, he selected only those businesses who didn't have a website, and used these as a calling list to offer his web-design services. Guess what - he's already got 2 positive responses and still has several more to contact.
Should he have picked up the other cards?
